Background

The College of Postgraduate Studies & Scientific Research was established in 2010. Since its foundation, Dr. John Garang Memorial University of Science & Technology (Dr. JG – MUST), has given considerable attention to Graduate Studies and scientific research. These unremitting attention and efforts have resulted in the establishment for the provision of training to holders of bachelor’s degrees to gain admission to Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, Masters, and Ph.D. programmes. The College started training students for specializations at the level of higher Diploma, master’s degree, and Doctorates as principle of Borloug Institute. Currently, the College is offering more postgraduate programmes (Diploma and Masters) across disciplines in Humanities and Applied Sciences. Those programmes have been designed to be implemented by coursework and research to meet postgraduate students’ educational goals.

During this continued growth, many rules and regulations have been established to organize its march towards sustainable development aiming at achieving erudition and academic excellence.

To provide quality services and produce students who are key assets and committed to developing their potential, encouraging, and rewarding them to foster quality in graduate education. Our core business is to provide quality teaching and learning in a supportive environment. Our genuine desire is to serve develop ours comminute. We will spare no efforts to provide high quality academic programmes and encourage research efforts to stimulate discovery and innovation.
